Enterprise UX Audits

Turning two enterprise audits into a repeatable approach for finding usability issues and deciding which to fix first.

Role
UX Research Lead
Scale
Two audits · four applications · 94 issues
Focus
UX Evaluation · Prioritization

The problem

OASIS, a fraud-management platform, and SAND, a suite of financial operations apps, both had dense interfaces where small inconsistencies added up. Important actions were hard to spot, familiar controls behaved differently from screen to screen, and some workflows couldn't be completed with a keyboard.

What I did

I led both audits, working with a UX designer and a project lead. For OASIS I built an evaluation framework around a fraud analyst's real workflow, with severity ratings, and we turned 44 findings into recommendations and concept designs. For SAND I adapted the method to three more applications, found 50 more issues, and ran a prioritization workshop with UX and product stakeholders.

Try a decision. In the prioritization workshop, accessibility issues got fewer votes than the visible workflow problems. What decides their priority?

Outcome

94 issues across two audits, a reusable evaluation method, and an agreed direction: fix shared patterns like tables and navigation through the design system instead of one screen at a time, starting with a mobile proof of concept.
