The problem
BCF's legacy interface was still in use, but its design references were scattered across old files, and the developers' component showcase was closed to most of the team. Some of the old designs had never shipped, so the files couldn't be trusted as a picture of the live product.
What I did
I audited the existing material, separated what shipped from what didn't, and rebuilt a lightweight, searchable library. I used AI to speed up color sampling and component reconstruction, reviewed every component myself, and checked the result against 39 CSS files with a UX engineer.
Try a decision. The old design files disagree with the live interface. What should the library show?
Outcome
A working library with six foundations, 16 components, two patterns and three page templates. Designers, product, business analysts and QA can now look up the interface as it actually is.
